Meet Chase

Chase Ainsworth is a professional performer born & raised in Prairie Village, Kansas. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre (Acting emphasis) from Texas Christian University after graduating summa cum laude in May 2017.

While at TCU, Chase began working as a voice actor for FUNimation; he is featured in several of their animes such as One Piece, Fairy Tail, and Dragon Ball Z.

After graduating, Chase had the opportunity to sail around the world as a Shipboard Performer for Disney Cruise Line. You can join Chase on his journey by following him on Instagram (the link below)!

Chase is currently back home in Kansas, working on a recently-purchased investment property!

I’m BAAAaaack!!! 🎶

I’m thrilled to officially announce that I am back on contract with Disney Cruise Line as a Shipboard Performer! I’ve been rehearsing for the past month in Toronto with the brilliant Wish 3 cast, and tomorrow we make our way to Orlando for costume fittings before embarkation.

Coming back to DCL is an absolute dream; I’m endlessly grateful to be working for this incredible company again and can’t wait to share the all the magic we create! ✨

Nearly 5 years ago, I was just about to start another cruise contract, so I flew to NY a few days before embarking to audition, visit friends, and squeeze in a show. On my last full day in the city, my dear friend @taylorlynnlewis asked if I could help her and @madeline.metzger move another friend’s stuff out of his apartment. I got there a hair early and while I waited on the corner, I admired this old painted ad for spark plugs on the side of the building.

Fast forward to exactly 2 years ago. I’m days away from moving to NY to live w/ @taylorlynnlewis & @taylorrenee9 (truly two of my favorite people). They’ve already lived there for several years and a couple months, respectively, but I’m still back in Kansas at this point, so they’ve done all of the in-person apartment hunting. We all move in on May 1st, and on the 2nd, I go to get spare keys made down the block. I walk along our street, and as I approach the next avenue, I see the ad. Champion Spark Plugs.

What are the odds that, after cruising across the planet, moving to Atlanta, moving back home to quarantine, and then finally arriving in NY, that I would land on the SAME BLOCK? Whether or not the Tays realized that they picked the same exact block, I firmly believe that I was supposed to be right there. Call it destiny, kismet, or coincidence, I was meant to be in NY.

That being said, I’ve actually already started my next big adventure! To all my NY friends, I’m so sorry if we didn’t get a proper farewell, but this isn’t goodbye, it’s see ya real soon :)
